I was lucky enough to get asked to present at the 2019 CET Experience Conference in Orlando, FL in October. I had no idea when I submitted my rendering to the CET Awards last year, that it would lead me to a much bigger opportunity of presenting at a national conference. As nervous as I was, I was also excited to see what the CET Experience was all about, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I met so many wonderful people from across the country, and it was humbling to be surrounded by so many CET experts. I was able to attend trainings from Configura trainers, as well as other dealership CET users. I presented three, one hour sessions on “Pro Tips in PhotoLab,” and I was surprised each session to see the room so packed. My favorite part of presenting was being able to show others the tips and tricks I never thought I was doing “right” to create a successful rendering, and the positive feedback I got back from that was amazing. It just goes to show that with a program like this, there are numerous ways to achieve the same end result, it’s just about what works best for you. I also got the opportunity to emcee the CET Awards for all of this year’s winners. They had almost 200 submissions with around 8,000 votes, so there was a lot of competition!
