“Flek is a new line in our Varia platform. 3Form’s Varia platform is known for its translucency, formability, durability, cleanability, strong fire-rating, and carrying multiple sustainability labels. Our Varia has always used 40% pre-consumer recycled material, but Flek is the next evolution in closing the loop and uses about 75% recycled content.
More than ten years in research and development in optical sorting technology has made Flek possible. We take the waste material from the production process of all Varia panels, grind it into small pellets, sort out remnants of old interlayers, and press the pellets into new Flek panels. As with any interlayer in 3form’s Varia platform you can add colors, diffusions and different effects to really customize your design.
The translucent terrazzo-like pattern of Flek really comes to life with our fresh on-trend colors from our Varia Design Collection. The warm palette of strong neutrals references natural materials, with intentional pops of color added. Here’s a look at Flek with the new capsule of colors in addition to last year’s palette.
