Sydney Beasley Joins the Scott Rice Design Team!
We’re excited to welcome Sydney Beasley to the design team! Here’s a little bit about her.
I was born and raised in Columbia, MO and went to school at University of Central Missouri. I graduated with an interior design degree and moved to Kansas City after graduation. I was jobless before moving but knew KC was where I wanted to be for the long haul. My professional experience is in residential design but decided to make the switch and now I’m here! P.S. Loving it.
I’ve lived all over KC, but currently reside in Shawnee, KS, completely against my Mizzou alum parents’ wishes. I love all things KC, even the Kansas ‘burbs. First Fridays, City Market on weekend mornings, The Nelson, the Crossroads district nightlife, etc. – it’s all great. I also really enjoy trying out new food and local places. I have quite a few favorite brunch spots because a good biscuits and gravy is my weakness.
My dog son, Frankie, is just the best little guy. He’s a 5-year-old French Bulldog that I adopted at the beginning of the pandemic. He’s got his own charming personality and is so lovable. I know it’s strange to constantly talk about how obsessed I am with my dog, but he deserves the recognition. So, worth it.
When I’m not at work, I’m either watching trashy reality shows (can’t help myself), listening to music, working on some home improvement project or at an antique store buying random cool pieces that I absolutely “need”.
