Tell us a little bit about yourself: Born and raised in KCMO. Graduated from Bishop Miege High School in 2012. Hate the cold and love the beach.
What is your role at SR? Technically a material handler. Started off doing mostly deliveries and warehouse work for Image, recently I’ve been transitioning into more estimating over the past couple months.
Before working here, what was the most interesting job you held? Landscaping. Once we would get through the mulching/leaves seasons every day was different. Sometimes it was building retaining walls, pool patios, installing drainage/sprinkler systems or fences etc.
hobbies/interests outside of work: Basketball (all sports really, playing and attending) movies, want to travel, sneakers
Favorite movie/book: I don’t really have a favorite. Really just kind of depends on mood. Some of my favorites are: Blood Diamond, The Prestige, The Departed, Spy Game, Se7en, Oceans Trilogy
Hidden talents? In 8th grade taught myself how to solve a rubiks cube and can solve it in about 2 minutes give or take and I can dunk sometimes but I have to be feeling really good.
Greatest Achievement: Dunking for the first time on a 10ft rim
What is your most treasured possession? Li-Ning Way of Wade 1 Encore Basketball Shoes
What did you want to be when you grew up? When I was really young a vet because I like animals but then I realized if you’re a vet you have to see animals in pain. After that play in the NBA.
What’s your favorite thing about your job? Having the opportunity to learn new things and also having the opportunity to support myself.
