Tell us a little bit about yourself: I am a western Kansas native & graduate of Fort Hays State University. I moved to the KC area in 2012 with my Fiancé-our wedding will be this May. I’ve been at Scott Rice since June 2015.

What is your role at SR:  I am the newest GSA team member-continually bugging everybody with questions!

Before working here, what was the most interesting job you held:  I have found all of my previous employments interesting, but I fear you might not…

Hobbies/interests outside of work:  Flora, fauna (especially reptiles, amphibians, turtles, crocodilians, etc.), and nature in general; literature, movies, music, and art in general; philosophy, science, & logic.

Favorite movie/book:  I have to admit that it would be impossible for me to watch Dirty Dancing too many times. But in all seriousness, my favorite books are typically science fiction, historical fiction, nature, crime, and occasionally fantasy or popular science-some favorite authors are (in no particular order): Isaac Asimov, Mario Puzo, Jack London, Stephen King, Dan Simmons, Malcom Gladwell, Jane Goodall, Frank Herbert, James Dickey, Hunter Thompson, Jon Ronson, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Michael Chrichton, J. R. R. Tolken,  Frans de Waal, etc.

Hidden Talents: Maybe baking? My favorite It’s not a sweet item, but I make a lovely chicken pot pie!

Greatest achievement:  I earned an excellent score on the LSAT. But I’m young-I hope that 2/3 of the way through my life this achievement won’t even make my list!

Most treasured possession:  My engagement ring!

What did you want to be when you grew up: For a while I was reading a lot about dolphins and wanted to become a Marine Biologist. Alas, I never left Kansas!

What is your biggest pet peeve:  Lately-other drivers not using their indicators!

What is one thing you couldn’t live without? Maybe popcorn. I’d probably live though.
