Make sure to stay around and check out new products from our partners including the Steelcase Karman chair, Smith System Numbers, NorvaNivel Genci 2.0, Tarkett Sports and more! Those in attendance can also enter the raffle to win a Smith System Soft Rock! You must attend to enter, but you do not need to be present to win.

Our team will also be hosting a “Snack Pack Drive” to support the non-profit, The Children’s Place. The primary goal of the drive is to collect non-perishable food items for families to take home over the weekend. If you would like to contribute, we will have drop boxes at the event.

9:30 am – 10:30 am: Dr. Kristen Craft, Education and Innovation Consultant @ Generation Esports

Schools adopting esports as an official school sport or even an extra curricular is leading to engaging at-risk students and helping them find purpose in schools. With 70% of Americans playing videos games, it makes sense that esports can be a powerful tool in engaging your audience remotely or in-person. Esports clubs have rapid growth, and impact the kids that need it.

NorvaNivel is passionate about designing creative and innovative spaces that allows all students’ needs to be met for learning success. Since NorvaNivel was founded in Australia in 2010, Jolene has personally partnered with hundreds education leaders to help their schools navigate from traditional teaching and classroom design to create agile learning spaces to support the pedagogy of today and tomorrow. With a view to the direction of education, Jolene creates the vision of learning spaces of the future. She brings with her hundreds of successful case studies and a commitment to improving education in the United States with inclusive learning spaces. She is inspired by her children and transforming the world in which they learn.

11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Lunch + Vendor Showcase

12:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Marisa Sergnese, “The Scaling of Active Learning Environments: Building a Taxonomy of Teaching + Learning Spaces”

Education leaders & school board members continue to navigate numerous challenges to promote student success, faculty development, facilities, and infrastructure. Steelcase Learning offers a targeted collection of sprints that provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to the adoption of environments that support active learning methodologies and thoughtfully curated technology integration. The Children’s Place: Where hurts find hope.

The Children’s Place is a leader – locally and nationally – in trauma-responsive care for children as Kansas City’s specialized trauma treatment agency. The Children’s Place provides four distinct programs to offer a holistic continuum of care and a multi-disciplinary approach to mental health healing. We encourage anyone with a hurt – physical, emotional, or relational – to seek help. We know early intervention has the power to mitigate future health and social issues.

OUR MISSION is to help children and families heal from life’s deepest hurts. We work to restore childhood. We tirelessly pursue, find and celebrate healing for young children in our community who have faced trauma, enabling children to lead happy, healthy, hopeful lives.
