Welcome to the office, Amanda!
Scott Rice welcome’s Amanda Munsey to the team! Amanda has joined our organization as a Workplace Consultant. We’re so happy to have her as a part of our team! Read a little more about her below!
Well, what is there to say about me? In all honesty, I’ve never been a person to be short on words! Actually besides being quite “communicative”, I have a tendency to be known for my passion. I have a fiery passion for everything I am and everything I do. It probably started early in life being “from” Denver, but really more of an “Army-Brat” I was able to see the world, see different cultures, make so many new friendship…. and oh, my, the food! I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Benedictine College, after Denver. With a ton of hard work & dedication I graduated with majors in History & Art History with a minor in Spanish and German in Honors.
So naturally, I eventually ended up in furniture! I’m so excited to start my next chapter, with Scott Rice. I am beyond thrilled here!
I have the pleasure of coming home to a full house! With my husband Brett (together 11 years/huge Chiefs fan/semi pro tennis player/pretty good dancer), my step daughter Hallie (14 yo/full of sass & sarcasm/basketball player/already taller than me), our daughter Ava (10 yo/soccer stud/straight A’s/most likely to be first female President) and our sweet boy Emmett (7 yo/ baseball guru/ extremely artistic/will end up in the news- not sure how yet ;)). Lastly we have rescued a puppy during quarantine through my work with Unleashed Pet Rescue. Layla Queenie is just 5 months, half Catahoula- half German Shepard (already huge/very photogenic/unnaturally smart/ridiculously playful/mostly likely to make me run down the street like a crazy person).
In my free time, I love taking Layla for hikes & to the dog park, I read 2-3 books a month, I am obsessed with old movies, esp. Elvis Presley & musicals (I don’t know why either). I just got an antique record player that I adore playing while I cook & bake (I want to be humble about it, but I am pretty good). As I mentioned at the beginning, what’s there to say about me…. well I guess a lot & I cannot wait to share with you!
