Vincent Horst

Workplace Consultant

Role: Vincent is responsible for managing the team and ensuring your requests are followed through and completed to your satisfaction. He has the experience and skills required to successfully support the coordination of furniture design, order, and installation of your project. Vincent will serve as your main point of contact. He will consult with the client team and design team to provide concept development, evaluation, budget and quotation, development of standards and specification, and will provide keyed placement plans.

Experience: Vincent has been in the contract furniture and facilities management industry for 18 years and has 13 years of expertise in GSA work. Vincent’s major project involvement includes EPA, FBI, Cessna, DOD, USDA, IMA, KC Police, Corp of Engineers, and GSA.



Michelle Carney

Senior Design Consultant

Role: As a part of the Kansas City, Kansas team, Michelle will be a part the programming, space planning, creative, and technical aspects of this project.

Experience: Michelle has 8 years of dealership design experience and is Scott Rice’s lead GSA Designer. Some projects include: VA Medical Centers in Kansas and Missouri, McConnell Air Force Base, Fort Riley, Johnson County Government, Johnson County Community College, MATOC projects, Ft Leonard Wood, FDIC, KCPD, KCMO Water Services, Fort Scott Community College and Olathe West High School.



Deke Rohrbach

Federal Government Support Specialist

Role: In her current role on the team, Deke helps with product research and selection, prepares customer quotes and tracks profitability and commissions. In In her 13 years with Scott Rice, Deke has built strong relationships with our manufacturers and manufacturer representatives

Experience: Deke has been with Scott Rice since 2004. She began her tenure as our Concierge where she managed our Reference Library. In this role, Deke developed a broad knowledge of products and surface materials. Deke also spent 2 years in our Admin group, first, working with FMSG on order entry and accounts payable, then, assisting with customer calls and order entry for the Service department. In these positions, Deke gained insight into installation and service labor as well as product warranties.



Michal Whitney

Project Manager

Role: Michal will be responsible for project organization including order entry and acknowledgements, coordination with manufacturers, delivery planning, scheduling, installation labor, punch list, and all project logistics.

Experience: Previously Michal managed performance testing of equipment for Smith & Loveless, Inc. In that role she worked closely with engineers, general contractors, municipalities, and laboratories to field test, analyze, and report on the performance of new and existing equipment installations. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy of Science from Fort Hays State University in 2012.
