Role: Vincent is responsible for managing the team and ensuring your requests are followed through and completed to your satisfaction. He has the experience and skills required to successfully support the coordination of furniture design, order, and installation of your project. Vincent will serve as your main point of contact. He will consult with the client team and design team to provide concept development, evaluation, budget and quotation, development of standards and specification, and will provide keyed placement plans.

Experience: Vincent has been in the contract furniture and facilities management industry for 18 years and has 13 years of expertise in GSA work. Vincent’s major project involvement includes EPA, FBI, Cessna, DOD, USDA, IMA, KC Police, Corp of Engineers, and GSA.



Shannon Redetzke

Director of Business Development for the Design Community

Role: Shannon is dedicated to supporting Kansas City’s Architecture and Design community, by providing insight on product knowledge, design services and workplace solutions for all market sectors.  She has been part of the Scott Rice team for the last 4 years.

Experience: Shannon is a certified designer and had practiced in the Kansas City community for 9 years before embracing a new opportunity, transitioning into the role of Business Development for Scott Rice.  Her past experiences involved providing design services for various markets including Education, Government and Health Care.  Shannon graduated from Iowa State University with a BFA in Interior Design.



Michelle Carney

Senior Design Consultant

Role: As a part of the Kansas City, Kansas team, Michelle will be a part the programming, space planning, creative, and technical aspects of this project.

Experience: Michelle has 8 years of dealership design experience and is Scott Rice’s lead GSA Designer. Some projects include: VA Medical Centers in Kansas and Missouri, McConnell Air Force Base, Fort Riley, Johnson County Government, Johnson County Community College, MATOC projects, Ft Leonard Wood, FDIC, KCPD, KCMO Water Services, Fort Scott Community College and Olathe West High School.



Michal Whitney

Project Manager

Role: Michal will be responsible for project organization including order entry and acknowledgements, coordination with manufacturers, delivery planning, scheduling, installation labor, punch list, and all project logistics.

Experience: Previously Michal managed performance testing of equipment for Smith & Loveless, Inc. In that role she worked closely with engineers, general contractors, municipalities, and laboratories to field test, analyze, and report on the performance of new and existing equipment installations. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy of Science from Fort Hays State University in 2012.



Kate Ward, NCIDQ, LEED AP, IIDA Ind.

Steelcase Workplace Consultant

Role: Kate will work collaboratively with your team as the main point of contact to share research, insights and product support from Steelcase. Her focus is on workplace research and strategy, as well as the implementation of solutions that solve business needs and goals. She is skilled at analyzing and implementing applications that are strategically designed to support the client’s productivity goals.

Experience: Kate joined the Kansas City team in February 2011 with an extensive portfolio of experience. Prior to joining Steelcase, Kate had ten years of experience working within the design community. As a designer at Arcturis, she developed a passion for workplace strategy and how the built environment can support a client’s business goals. As a member of the Kansas City team, Kate calls on the architectural and design community to help foster relationships with their clients.
