The annual Peek n Boo Bash was held at the ON Broadway rooftop event space.  This event is held to raise money for The Grooming Project (www.thegroomingproject.org).  The goal of the event is to help sponsor at least two women for the 6-month training program, costing $6,500 each.  This training allows these women to find jobs ranging from $35,000 to $75,000 per year; basically changing their lives.  Scott Rice is proud to co-sponsor this event and support this great organization.

 About the Grooming Project:

Natasha Kirsch and The Grooming Project’s ultimate vision is lifting the child out of the welfare cycle.  But to accomplish that, we must first address obstacles in the parent’s life…beginning with barriers to employment.  The Grooming Project, teaches the trade of dog grooming.  By pairing job training with life skill courses, the organization provides a comprehensive approach to breaking the cycle of poverty.

Oh, and did we mention that the Zeros were there?  It’s always a good time with 80’s music!
