Tell us a little bit about yourself:   I have lived in Kansas City all of my life.  I have been married to my wife Nicole for 21 years in November.  We have 2 beautiful girls, Haley (12) and Ella (8).  For those who do not already know, I am Mark Wilson’s younger and better looking brother.  I am also the son-in-law of Nick & Kristin Quick.  This is a tough question because you can go so many different directions.  I could tell about my work experience, my home life, etc.  I think the main thing to know about me is that my Faith in Jesus informs and guides every part of my life.  It is who I am.
What is your role at SR:  I am a project manager for FMSG.

Before working here, what was the most interesting job you held:  I would say that none of my previous jobs have been interesting at all.  My most recent job previous to SR was working for an internet software company.  Because the company was an internet startup I had to wear many hats while working for them.  I did project management, customer service, quality assurance testing, training, etc.  I think the past job that I enjoyed most was being a courier for the Johnson County Library.
Hobbies/interests outside of work: I do a lot of things with my church community.  I do ministry including discussion groups, teaching, counseling, etc.  I love to study, so one of my passions is the study of the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith.  I like to play softball, soccer, basketball.  Spending time with family and friends.  My family likes to watch the Royals.

Favorite movie/book:  I don’t know that I have a favorite movie or book.  I have to say that I really love to study the Bible.  One of my favorite books that I have read lately is Bonhoeffer, which is a biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.  A few movies that I enjoy are Eight Men Out, Lord of the Rings, and The Matrix.

Hidden Talents:
None

Greatest achievement:
Being a good husband and father.

Exodus Cry is an organization with the goal of ending human trafficking and the abolition of modern day slavery all over the world.  They help men & women all over the world get freedom from this horrific situation.  My church partners with Exodus Cry to raise money to help eradicate this terrible problem.  My family takes part in the annual 5K to help this cause.

Most treasured possession:  My family and community of friends.

What did you want to be when you grew up: Growing up I always wanted to be a professional baseball player.

What is your biggest pet peeve: People who say one thing and do another.

What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
I am assuming besides air, water, food. 🙂 My family, my community of friends, and my Bible. Sorry, that is more than one thing.
